Lover of cozy sweaters, warm colours, evenings on patios, large coffee mugs, scented candles and, oh yes, books!  I'm a Kids Inventory Analyst at Indigo Books & Music and loving it.  Like most bookworms, my love for the written word began early and I speculate that I spent a good quarter of my life in the Chapters near my parent’s home.  So, working with kids books on a daily basis lets me go back to those special moments when I realized that a book isn’t just a story, but an entire universe.  All these years later, I still think this way.

My feelings about books can be summed up by this gorgeous quote that was displayed in front of an art show on literature when I was in university.  The author remains unknown to me.

Books: contain. Trap meaning.  Are archives.  Are museums of thought.  Are exceptional.  Can be fallen into.

Yes, yes they can.
