Dave is a prolific adventurer, and is at his happiest when he’s in some far flung locale, drinking in the scenery while looking for a good time. His favourite recent adventures include, in no particular order: watching bullfights in Pamplona, hunting white whales with his pals aboard the Pequod, walking down a long, desolate road with his father while avoiding cannibals, helping to build a great monastery in Kingsbridge, and adventuring into the South American jungle to find a lost land filled with dinosaurs.

His reading habits are surprisingly similar. He enjoys books about expeditions to destroy dark lords, scientists who build infernal machines to go back in time, and apocalyptic landscapes where man is on the run from aliens/zombies/radiation/cannibals/women.
