The literary and entertainment world are both a-buzz with the news about J.K. Rowling. The creator of the uber-successful Harry Potter franchise has confirmed that she is not done with writing -- this afternoon it was revealed that Rowling has signed a deal with Little, Brown for her first adult novel.

According to a statement by Rowling, she felt that it made sense to have a new publisher along with the new writing territory she will be exploring. There are no details about the upcoming book yet, but the publisher has said they will announce the book's title and publication date later this year.
